Virginia discovered the Argentine Tango in the 1989 production of Tango Argentino at Riverbend Theater in Cincinnati. From that time until this, she has had a compelling interest in learning the dance and helping others learn it. She has studied with masters in Montreal, Europe and in cities across the United States. For the past eight years, she has taught and performed in the Cincinnati regional area. In 1998, she consulted on Midfest's week-long presentation of 'Argentina: Culture and Dance" in Middletown, Ohio. In 2001, she served as dance coach for the Cincinnati Music Theater's production of "Evita" and performed in and directed "Tango-desparada" for consecutive years at the Columbia Performance Center and the Stained Glass Theater.

Michael has been dancing and teaching for over ten years. Much of his recent development comes from teachers such as Brigitte Winkler and Tomás Howlin, who are gifted at explaining how the dance works.
Michael teaches ongoing lessons at the Maitri Center
in Northside, 4120 Hamilton Avenue, over the post office. Michael is
assisted by Nuria Lopez-Ortega and Deborah Vigna. Michael has been teaching
tango for 10 years in Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, and Lexington.

Barb teaches tango Apilado, or "milonguero" style. She has been dancing for six years. She has studied with Susana Miller, Robert Hauk, Cacho Dante, Robin Thomas, Jennifer Bratt, Barbara Durr and Alicia Pons.
